Amanda K Lechner is a Director, Videographer, Visual Designer & Creative with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling. With a background in experimental film, creative writing, and psychology, Amanda focuses on using every detail in the frame to influence the audiences’ perception and involvement. Emotion is key to engagement.
She focuses on delivering unique, quality content representative of both client and collaborator needs.. With access to a range of equipment and other creatives, AK Lechner can ensure a quality product on a timely schedule... while offering so much more.
With an initial phone or in-person consultation (depending on project), YOU CHOOSE how much you'd like to be involved in the production process. Whether you like to be fully in the know or be hands off - AK will assist you in choosing the best way to visually communicate.
Practicing photography since 2007 and film since 2009 AK has mastered the "fly-on-the-wall" approach. No matter the project, it is important to be in the right place to capture the genuine moments which radiate with emotion. Staged instances can be used to ensure everyone is remembered for years to come. Making sure to carry enough batteries to roll nonstop because she believes nothing beats the beauty of candid emotion.

Focuses on character development to drive emotion, establishing a unique visual language for each project. Overall, Amanda aims to evoke powerful emotions from unique perspectives.
CREATIVE PRODUCTION
A production chameleon focusing on the details while keeping the larger vision in mind. A color-coding super-planner, Amanda enjoys a robust pre-production to help facilitate communication. She likes to start discussions by defining the audience & their needs so a plan can be structured with the goal of driving views/sales
VIDEOGRAPHY
Utilizes 'fly on the wall' approach while capturing key moments from a pre-planned shot list. Amanda has been a working with a multitude of companies as a freelance videographer & editor for over 10 years. She’s had experience working on a variety of sets, from hobbyists to studios, and knows how to be a chameleon with any production situation.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The goal of shoots is to come away with an image to awe over while having fun in the process. Works with you to feel comfortable on camera. She loves to collaborate outside the box to create emotive images. Offering various types of photography services including portraits, event/BTS, weddings, and real estate.

Creating presentations that evoke powerful emotions from unique perspectives. Skilled at script analysis and translating text to a visual language for the creative industry. Each project is tailored to the clients taste and collaboration can be limited or involved.
