Amanda is a director/filmmaker who enjoys telling stories about coming-of-age and family dysfunction. Whether a one-man-band, running a forty-person crew, or being on industry commercial as an art department prop assistant, Amanda has gained a diverse set of skills and is adept at learning new material quickly. 

A color-coding super-planner, Amanda enjoys a robust pre-production to help facilitate communication. She likes to start discussions by defining the audience & their needs so a plan can be structured with the goal of driving views/sales (or other?)

Educated in Directing, Cinematography, Experimental Film Production, Creative Writing, & Psychology (all higher education accolades). Despite this, Amanda is a never-ending student, driven to stay up-to-date and in the know. 

Working as a freelancer/contractor since 2014, she’s been able to gather experience & talents in a multitude of fields. Overall, Amanda aims to evoke powerful emotions from unique perspectives. 

V I D E O G R A P H Y

Amanda has been a working with a multitude of companies as a freelance videographer & editor for over 10 years. She’s had experience working on a variety of sets, from hobbyists to studios, and knows how to be a chameleon with any production situation.

In regards to videography, Amanda typically utilizes the ‘fly-on-the-wall’ approach to capture the touching moments that can slip by while prioritizing staged shots. 

A creative problem solver who approaches challenges as a way to try something new. She can and will make an enjoyable montage out of footage.
